The story.

  • 1963 Harry Brown and eldest son Paul open ‘Farmer Brown’ on Carnaby St.

  • 1972 Youngest son Mark joins them to open a second premises on Gt. Portland St.

  • 1976 Farmer Brown moves to Covent Garden serving London’s best breakfast!

  • 1979 ‘Cordon Brown’ opens on our current site.

  • 1994 ‘Pasta Brown’ moves in - young Carmela comes on board with her Neopolitan cooking to create our amazing menu as do the next generation of Browns; Antony, Natalie, Harry & Georgia.

  • 1999 Pasta Brown opens by The Royal Opera House - our first new premises in 20 years.

  • 2021 Covent Garden remains the original home of Pasta Brown for almost 30 years

    with brothers Paul & Mark still in residence alongside their children, extended family and loyal team.
